What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?
Cosmetic Acupuncture is the insertion of hair-thin needles into the dermis to promote Skin Rejuvenation as an alternative to fillers, peels, lasers or surgeries. All treatments are safe with little-to-no risks, side effects or down-time.
Treatments work by increasing circulation, and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, bringing a glowing and youthful appearance back to the skin!
Results include: better skin tone, fewer fine lines, reduction in wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, scarring, pore size, and a natural lifted look.

What is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that uses a high-speed oscillating pen with 12-point stainless steel needle cartridge to puncture the Dermis layer of the skin.
Each puncture of the pen creates a micro-channel that triggers the bodies natural healing process to: 1) fill the channel by producing new collagen and elastin in the papillary dermis; 2) form new capillaries for improved blood supply and circulation; 3) increase absorption of topical serums up to 3000% to hydrate and heal the skin.
With use of a professional pen, the top layer of the skin is parted without being damaged, leaving the skin intact. It does not “burn” your skin like peels or more invasive lasers.
What is Nanoneedling?
Nanoneedling is an exfoliating treatment for the the Epidermis layer of the skin. The treatment uses the same oscillating pen but with a microscopic silicone tip cartridge to separate the cells within the epidermis to prepare the skin for Serum Infusion.
Benefits are increased cell turnover, enhanced product absorption, pigmentation reduction, skin rejuvenation and an immediate glow with no downtime.

Patients will have a consultation before beginning a course of Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments to discuss their individual goals, and expectations.
There are some Contraindications to Cosmetic Acupuncture which include:
- History of keloid scarring
- History of eczema, psoriasis and other chronic skin conditions
- History of actinic (solar) keratosis
- History of herpes simplex infections
- History of diabetes
- Presence of raised lesions, moles, or warts on treatment area
- Scleroderma
- Collagen vascular diseases
- Cardiac abnormalities
- Rosacea
- Blood-clotting problems
- Active bacterial or fungal infection
- Immuno-suppression
- Scars less than six months old
Relative contraindications will be taken on a case by base basis, alternative treatment options will be discussed for absolute contraindications.
Skin Rejuvenation Microneedling can be performed 1x/month and best results are seen after 4 treatments.
Hair Regrowth Microneedling can be performed 2x/month and best results are seen after 4-6 months.
Results vary based on age and skin conditions, but most people see results that last for years!
Nanoneedling, Facial or Scalp Acupuncture and Bio-Light Therapy can be performed weekly to enhance results between monthly Microneedling sessions.
